Accountant

The Accountant will be responsible for handling daily accounting tasks and ensuring accurate recording of financial transactions in compliance with accounting standards. The role requires proficiency in Odoo ERP, with additional knowledge of HR basics and Ministry of Labor procedures in Oman.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage general ledger accounts and record all financial transactions (entries, vouchers, invoices).
Prepare monthly and annual financial reports (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow).
Monitor accounts payable and receivable and ensure regular reconciliation.
Handle payments, collections, and ensure timely settlements.
Prepare tax files and ensure compliance with zakat, tax, and related government filings.

Support the HR department in:

Follow up on Ministry of Labor procedures regarding work permits, contract renewals, and end-of-service processes.
Ensure compliance with Oman’s financial and labor regulations.
Prepare and analyze administrative and financial reports to support decision-making.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of practical experience in accounting.
Proven experience working with Odoo ERP.
