Overview

The “Afaq” Ceremony is an official event held at the Royal Opera House – Muscat, celebrating the achievements of The Rising Omani Startups Programme and highlighting its national impact. Our team delivered a full-scale execution within just five working days, including project management, development of the event’s visual identity, stage and visitor experience design, production of audio-visual content, and full technical operation on the event day, all within a tight schedule adhering to the Royal Opera House’s standards and requirements. Scope of work included: - Project management and execution planning - Visual identity development and application on site - Floor Plan and 3D Map preparation - Stage and visitor experience design - Production of audio-visual content, including segments - Supervision of technical systems and event-day operations

Challanges

The main challenge was the short timeframe between setup and the event day, combined with the sensitivity of the venue and strict requirements of the Royal Opera House. Ensuring visual and audio integration reflecting the official tone of the occasion, while managing smooth operations within a precise schedule, was particularly critical given that the entire project was executed in just five working days.

Results & Impact

The ceremony was executed according to schedule without any operational issues, fully complying with technical standards and venue requirements. It delivered a cohesive visual and audio experience that effectively communicated the programme’s message and presented “Afaq” as a premier national platform supporting Omani startups, while demonstrating the team’s capacity to execute high-quality, intensive projects within extremely tight timelines.
